SEAFARERS SUNDAY Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, The International Seafarers Minstry Board of New Covenant Presbytery would like to invite you and your congregation to set aside a 'SEAFARERS SUNDAY'. Throughout much of the world this Sunday will be Celebrated on July 13, 2003, however, you may choose any Sunday which you like. The purpose of 'SEAFARERS SUNDAY' is to pray for Seafarers and their families throughout the world and for the Ministry to Seafarers in which we participate at the Ports of Houston, Barbours Cut, Galveston, Beaumont and Port Arthur, in our Presbytery. A Port Chaplain might be invited to participate in your worship on this day and a special offering may be collected for this ministry. We would also be glad to provide you with whatever worship resources which you might need. We hope that you might let us know about your congregation's interest and participation in this 'SEAFARERS SUNDAY' opportunity.
