Vision Statement
Of
The International Seafarers Ministry Board
Of
The Presbytery of New Covenant

That a Ministry to Seafarers in all Ports in this Presbytery, be developed and nurtured, that includes all Cultures and Congregations within the Presbytery. This Board will engage the Pastors, Leaders and members of our Congregations, and make them aware of the many opportunities of service and outreach, through ongoing creative communication, and participatory educational activities involving the lives of our Seafarers.

This Vision is to be accomplished through a renewed commitment of present Board members, and the recruitment of new members and volunteers, who have an understanding of the life of Seafarers. This will involve establishing a functional Committee structure for the Board, and identifying and utilizing the many Gifts of the various Board members and Volunteers.

As members of our Congregations and Communities are engaged in this Ministry, the shared stories of lives changed, will engender enthusiastic involvement and underwritten Endowments.
