Lou Lawler Seafarers' Center is located on Barbour's Cut Blvd. in La Porte. It is also one of the Seafarers Centers in the Port of Houston which is staffed by our two Presbyterian Chaplains. This Center is closer to the docks which it services and has less distance to travel in transporting Seafarers for shopping. Thus, many volunteers are used as drivers. Lou Lawler Seafarers' Center has a small Chapel, pool tables, musical instruments for use, a T.V. and VCR, a small store, and a home style environment. Upstairs in the building is a large conference room and other meeting rooms.
